Preparing Our Church for the Advent Season
With joyful anticipation, the Payson First Church of the Nazarene embarks on the beloved tradition of the Hanging of the Greens. Our sanctuary will be filled with eager hearts and hands eager to adorn our sacred space with symbols of the Advent season. Ladders will be climbed, wreaths will be hung, and garlands will be meticulously draped. The sanctuary will soon radiate with a vibrant tapestry of evergreen, reminding us of the eternal hope found in Christ. As we stand back and admire the transformation, we are reminded that the simple act of hanging greens not only prepares our church for the Advent season, but also prepares our hearts to welcome the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
